I was thinking long and hard about what I should post for this week. I had different topics in mind but I guess they will have to wait for some other time because this one is time sensitive. Earlier today I came across an instagram post from a page called Exodus Cry (I recommend you follow their page on Instagram). The post was about how Poronography is tied to Animated films that are made for for children and how A simple search of one of their favorite animated characters could end up taking them into an unending loop of destruction. You see, These days all the dark and twisted things are being shown in cartoons and animated films. I learned that early one in my middle school days whenever shows like Family Guy and The Simpsons would come on the TV. If you have seen them as well, you would know that the The contents and wordings, their little jokes are NOT appropriate for children at ALL. I can in a way say that it is rather just a way of trying to reach children with their agenda. For example Let’s also talk about some of the animated movies I have watched growing up and how it completely ruins a child’s innocent mind and mainly is against the word of God.

Cinderella, Snow White, Merida and More

We all know cinderella to be the little maiden girl who was pushed aside as a result of her father marrying a woman who was not fond of her. On top of that as if life was not unforunate enough, her step-mother had two daughters who were like thorns on the side for Cinderella. You know the story so I won’t go into the details. However, at the climax of the story Cinderella meets a fairy godmother who changes Cinderella’s clothes to a beautiful ball gown. That’s Magic. In Snow white, we see magic and witchcraft and Same for Merida, Beauty and the Beast, and more. I watched the movie ‘Merida’ not too long ago one night because I couldn’t sleep and wanted to just watch something. And that was the only movie I have not watched out of all the Disney Movies and it seemed interesting. When I tell you the amount of Witchcraft there is in that movie you would think I am exaggerating. Honestly all the childhood disney movies we grew up watching, looking at it now, they either have Witchcraft, Magic or Sorcery involved. And the most recent, loved and well known movie ‘Encanto’? Yep. That also is filled with Witchcraft, Magic but you wouldn’t known because the characters and animations and story lines are captivating so you would end up saying “eh, it is not THAT bad”. I hate to be the debbie downer of well known animated movies/shows but we really gotta look out for the younger generation because all the media cares about is their 5 second fame and the fortune they get out of this.

Another thing I also want to mention, which is very important is that many children as early as the age of 5 are being exposed to Inppropriate content online through movies and games as well. Many games, shows and movies have been so overly sexualized to the point that even a grown up would cringe watching them. You know how many times I have sat with my younger siblings or even came across animated shows that have had so many references, jokes and lines that just do not make sense for anyone under the age of 18 to hear? Too many to count. One might ask “Why should we care so much about what many are watching right now?” Eye (I) Care! the Bible says

“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.
Matthew 6:22

So your Eyes do. So by being picky about the movies and shows you or your young ones watch, you can, according to this verse, literally save their life. I want to also address one thing. Even though many wouldn’t discuss this openly in their circle I believe it is time to expose the dangers of the drug many have been introduced and Addicted to without their knowledge. A drug called Pronography. By the way, did you know that Pornography is also known as the silent killer? It slowly controlls the minds of many young men and women and the dangers of it is no less than a drug addiction. Early Exposure leads to Sexual Immorality and Sexual Immorality leads to mind preversion and to distraction, falling into temptation and more. Let’s protect this generation from being Exposed to unwanted contents like Poronography (Sexual Immorality) Witchcraft, Pride, Rebellion and more. Don’t be fooled by the animations and cartoons. From now on, I want you to Look into it yourself, focus on these so called children movies/shows and you will be amazed at how much junk there is behind all the animated films we have been watching and our younger ones have been exposed to. One thing to keep in mind as well is that as christians, the word of God commands that we stay away from such things. Not recommends but commands. Command is something that you are instructed to do. You have no choice but to follow as long as you are under the submission of the ways of God inorder to reach a goal. Meanwhile recommendation is one that comes with an alternative like “I would recommend that you get the tea but if you want you can have the coffee”. That is a very important point to focus on. So let’s be serious about this and encourage on another to start with small steps such as having open discussion about topic such as the ones mentioned on here. We can do better. We NEED to do better.
